The Top 10 Bits of Information to be Included when You Introduce Your Business, Orally or in WritingCategory: Sales, Marketing, PR, Sales Management (AF99)Originally Submitted on 4/28/2000. Often new business owners are unsure what to tell people about their business. Sometimes brochures, self-introductions, or even web sites, leave others still wondering what, exactly, the company under discussion does and how it serves its customers. Here are some suggestions to help resolve the dilemma: 1. Your name. 2. The name of your company. 3. What you do. 4. Type of service you provide. 5. Example of a person who would need your service. 6. Case history or anecdote illustrating how you served such a customer/client. 7. Why there is a need for your service/why it is valuable. 8. Why YOUR service is special or unique. 9. Your web presence (URL). 10. How else you can be contacted.
