Living with any dedicated professional isn't always easy. This Top 10 List is a humerous, yet sincere, tribute to all of the husbands, wives, significant others and/or children who live with those of us in the coaching profession; and without whom we could not do whatever it is we do for the benefit of ourselves and others!
1. Refers to the first month of your relationship as being the "intake process."
2. Talks to the waiter about "process flow" and "customer relations."
3. Takes only a half-day at the office because "Sunday is our day off"!
4. Comes to bed at the end of a long day wearing a headset!
5. Attempts to call room service from the car phone!
6. Ends any argument by saying, "Let's talk more about this off-line."
7. Celebrates your anniversary by conducting a "performance review."
8. Can't be trusted with the family car -- too accustomed to having hands free for email.
9. Annual Valentine's Day card contains bullet-points!
10. Refers to lovemaking as being a "win/win" situation!
