Daily meditation - slowly repeating a Christian spiritual passage in your mind for 10 to 30 minutes – will bring you closer to God and support your being more the person God wants you to be.

1. Learning great quotes from a best-seller: The Bible.

Choose uplifting, character building Bible passages, for example, Psalm 23 or Psalm 51:10-12, to nurture your soul.

2. Meditating in a way that works for you.

Spiritual passage meditation focuses the mind on an inspirational perspective that you simply begin again if your mind wanders.

3. Sitting quietly is a very inexpensive way to enjoy life.

Your body and mind experience serenity at ever-deepening levels. No guru fees required.

4. Refining your values in a softly conscious way, you become whole.

Repeating a passage in your mind for ten to thirty minutes invites God’s desires for you to enter your innermost being.

5. Taking time to slow yourself in God, you gain new energy.

Meditating calms you and increases your stamina.

6. Buffering you from daily stress, you hold your center.

Your patience increases;you more easily move beyond chaos.

7. Internalizing serenity, you become an oasis of calm.

The serenity your meditation renews and increases each day will become apparent to you and others.

8. Allowing the Holy Spirit to grow within you, you will love more

You will sense the power of the Holy Spirit working in your life, allowing you to love in new ways.

9. Savoring God’s peace, blame will disappear from your life.

When others act out of self-interest and overload, you’ll more clearly see you are not responsible for their behavior. You’ll know the true peace that comes from your relationship with God.

10. Perceiving your growth, you will lead others to God.

As joy, peace and awareness grow, you’ll share these benefits with others. They, too, will be drawn to God, the Source.
