Coaching Tip: Time-stealers

Introduction

We may have developed a list of top priorities to keep in our awareness, but what about our time wasters, or, as I prefer to call them, time-stealers?

The Coaching Tip

If we find ourselves having difficulty getting to all the things that need to be done in a day, it may help to have a list of our top five time wasters, whatever they may be... newsgroups, crossword puzzles, phone conversations, the ubiquitous FreeCell... we all know what ours are, even if we hate to admit it.

Can you list yours large, hang them where you will see them frequently, and pledge to yourself that between certain times you will NOT indulge, not even for a moment? Then check in with yourself regularly.

It will become a lot easier to make progress on those top priorities if you face and eradicate your time-stealers.
