The Coaching Tip

As coaches we usually try to focus on the whole client. When a client has goals in many different areas of life, it is important to not only put some focus on prioritizing and on balance, but also on clarifying when some goals may work in direct opposition to each other. The client's success and comfort level will be much higher when s/he has been able to find an overarching goal, or vision, to
which all other goals contribute. Then, just as iron filings point in the same direction when attracted by a magnet, so will all the energies and activities of the client will head in the same direction.
